Actually this is a great band that started as a solo project made by Ronnie James Dio.
A great singer and a great man, Dio made this band in 1982 after he left Black Sabbath.By origins from USA, the band just blasted into the scene of Heavy Metal with the album called Holy Diver in 1983....a great album one of the best heavy metal bands in the history.
An ex singer at Rainbow and Black Sabbath, Dio created a very tipical heavy metal sound the one that the american people wanted and were looking for....inspired from Black Sabbath but with so many original sights he just had a great impact
Some songs...hmm....try somethin' like Holy Diver, Rainbow In The Dark, Children Of The Sea (Black Sabbath cover), Rock & Roll Children, The Last In Line or Egypt(The Chains Are On)
